What to Expect

A Walk Through
Your Sabbath Morning

We know visiting a new church can feel uncertain. Here is what a typical Saturday morning looks like so there are no surprises.

1

9:15 AM

Sabbath School

Our morning begins with small-group Bible study. Classes are organized by age, so everyone from young children to adults has a group. These are friendly, conversational settings — not lectures. Feel free to participate as much or as little as you like. You do not need to bring a Bible; we have copies available.

2

10:45 AM

Worship Service

Our main worship service includes congregational hymn singing, prayer, and a Bible-centered sermon. The service typically lasts about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. You are welcome to sit wherever you feel comfortable — there are no assigned seats. Song lyrics and scripture readings are provided.

3

After Service

Fellowship

After the service, many members gather to visit and connect. We frequently have a fellowship meal — a potluck-style lunch — and visitors are always invited to stay and share a meal with us. It is a wonderful way to get to know people in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

What to Wear

Come As You Are

There is no dress code. You are welcome exactly as you are. Most of our members dress in business casual to more formal attire out of personal reverence, but please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. What matters is that you are here, not what you are wearing.

Children & Families

A Place for
the Whole Family

We love having families with us. Children are a vital part of our church community, and we want them to feel at home.

Children’s
Sabbath School

Age-appropriate Bible study classes for children ages 4 through 16 during the 9:15 AM Sabbath School hour. Stories, songs, crafts, and hands-on learning make Scripture come alive for young minds.

Welcome in
Worship

Children are always welcome in our main worship service. We understand that little ones can be wiggly and sometimes noisy — that is perfectly okay. A family with children is a blessing, not a disruption.

Fellowship
for All Ages

Our fellowship meals and church activities are family-friendly. Bring the kids, grab a plate, and enjoy the community. Many families have found lifelong friendships here.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Sabbath?

The Sabbath is the seventh day of the week — Saturday — set apart by God as a day of rest and worship. It was established at Creation (Genesis 2:1–3) when God rested on the seventh day and made it holy. Seventh-day Adventists observe the Sabbath from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown as a gift of time with God and community.

Why do you worship on Saturday?

We worship on Saturday because we believe the Bible teaches that the seventh day is God’s Sabbath. The fourth commandment says, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy” (Exodus 20:8). Jesus Himself kept the Sabbath (Luke 4:16), and the early church continued to observe it. We see it as a joyful way to honor God’s design for our week.

What is Sabbath School?

Sabbath School is our Bible study time before the main worship service. Think of it like a small group or Sunday school class. Adults study a topic together using a quarterly study guide, and children have their own age-appropriate classes. It is relaxed and conversational — everyone is encouraged to share thoughts and ask questions.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself. You are welcome to bring a Bible if you have one, but it is not required — we have copies available and scripture references will be displayed during the service. There is no registration, no visitor card you have to fill out, and no obligation. Simply come, sit down, and worship with us.

Will I be singled out as a visitor?

We will not put you on the spot. Members may introduce themselves and warmly greet you, but you will never be asked to stand up in front of the congregation or do anything that makes you uncomfortable. We want your first visit to feel natural and pressure-free.
